Lecture: Powerpoint-presentation in English – so it works
- Introduction: Begin the presentation with a friendly welcome and presentation, such as "On behalf of Company I would like to welcome you here today. My name is Max Mustermann and I am the CFO of Global Travel.".
- Alternatively, you can introduce yourself with your name followed by "Today I am here to talk to you about ...".
- Structure: After the presentation is done, you can imagine now, with a couple of sets of your desired structure.
- To do this, you can say, for example, "Firstly I would like to start with.., then I want to look at..., next..., and finally..".
- In this regard, you should also mention that any questions will be answered at the end of the presentation: "I will be glad to answer any questions that you may have at the end."
- Subject: you can start the topic with a question, such as, for example, "Does anyone of you know..". Alternatively, you can build on already existing Knowledge: "As you all know..".
- In the Transition to the next topic, you can use the phrase "Right, lets move on to the next topic.".
- Summary/conclusion: At the end you can give with "To sum up..." a rough summary. You end the presentation with "Well that's it from me. Thanks very much. Does anyone have any questions?"
