No response from Outlook: Add-Ons disable
- Simultaneously press the keys "Windows" and "R", so the command "Run" will open.
- Enter "outlook /safe" and confirm with "OK". Then, Outlook starts in safe mode.
- The error should no longer occur now, the cause lies with high probability in the case of an Add-On.
- Click for solution to the problem on the top left tab "file" and select the "options".
- Go left to the category "Add-Ins" and click on the Button below "Go".
- Do not deactivate all the Add-Ons they deem necessary. You are not able to assess the relevance of the Add-Ons, disable any Add-Ons whose names begin with "Outlook" or "Microsoft".
- Save your Changes using the "OK" Button and restart Outlook, then, in the normal mode.

- Also your Anti-virus Software can cause the Problem. More and more often your Anti-virus program to protect you from the dangers in E-Mails. Turn off your Anti-virus Software temporarily completely and check if the error still occurs. Disabling the Mail protection can eliminate the Problem permanently.
- Repair: Open the control panel and select, under the category "applications" the Option "uninstall a program". Are you looking for in the list after the Office Installation and click on the Button "Change". Here you can repair Outlook (see image).
