OneNote Entire notebooks or single pages export
Up to the Version of OneNote 2013, you can choose which area of your notes you want to backup:
- First, open in OneNote, a page that you want to export.
- Now click top left on "file" and in the violet-shaded menu bar, click "Export".
- You choose whether you want to save the individual page, section or the entire notebook.
- You then specify the Format in which the Export is to take place. This can be, for example, a Word file or a PDF document.
- In the last step, click "Export" and select the desired memory space on your hard drive.
OneNote 2016: Single page export
In the current Version of OneNote 2016, and Microsoft has the Export options limited. Thus, a larger focus should be on the Free and share the notebooks are placed. Nevertheless, you can continue to export individual pages as PDF. For instance, if a colleague of yours has no access to OneNote.
- To do this, open the appropriate page and click on "file" > "save As PDF".
- To enter the desired memory location and confirm with "Save".
