The protected blank spaces in Word
There are two variants available to the protected set space:
- Put the Cursor at the desired location in your Word document. Simultaneously press the buttons: "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "spacebar".
- Alternatively, press and hold the alt key down and type on the numeric pad of your keyboard "0160".
- The protected is the space character, with a small circle°.
Show whitespace characters
Tip: Where a protected space, you will see with a click on the button "show All" [¶]. It shows you paragraph marks, spaces, protected gates, blanks, and tabs.
