Column parts in Word tables
You created with MS-Office Word Text with tables and paste later columns, you can get your Layout from the joints. In this case, it is safer, if you simply share one or more columns of the table:
- Select the table column that you want to share. The quickest way by dragging the mouse to the top edge of the column. The Mouse cursor to a down arrow, click the left mouse button.
- The column is selected, in the ribbon tab "table tools", with the command groups "design" and "Layout". Select the "Layout" with a click of the mouse.
- In the ribbon menu you will see "merge" command on the "split cells". Clicked a dialog box opens here, in which the column number can be set in which you want the selected area will be split. In the image, for example, was divided in the column "2014".
- You remove the hook in front of the entry "cells before split merge". Otherwise, all the values of the selected area are placed in the first cell. Confirm your action with OK.
- Similarly, you can also increase only for selected cells, the number of columns: just Select and hold the mouse button on the desired table area and then proceed as described above.
