Images disappear In LibreOffice Impress to restore
Are the images in "LibreOffice Impress" all of a sudden away, you can may restore.
- In Windows Explorer, navigate to the path "User" > your user name > "AppData" > "Roaming" > "LibreOffice" > "4" > "User" > "gallery". Alternatively, you can enter the URL directly in the Windows Explorer C:\Users\%IhrBenutzername%\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\4\user\gallery.
- In this folder all the images that you have imported ever in LibreOffice Impress can be saved.
- With a little luck, you can find your image file in the folder, although LibreOffice Impress can.

If images are missing in LibreOffice Impress, can't find the program's own copies of the image files. To prevent this from happening, you should save the images in a specially created folder, and only by insert link.
- Create a folder on your Computer where you wish to save all your images for LibreOffice Impress.
- If you use an image in an Impress-you want to insert the presentation, copy the image first of all in the created folder of images.
- Then click in LibreOffice in the top bar, click "Insert" and "picture...".
- In the "insert image"window, now select the image you want to use.
- Important: make Sure that the checkbox "Associate" is set. Then confirm with "Open".
- When you first Insert an image, you must remove the check in the "When Linking a graphic, ask," and again with "Link" confirm to keep.
- The image in the Impress file will now be loaded every time a new Opening directly from the original file.
