LibreOffice Calc: Conditional formatting - how to

Conditional formatting in LibreOffice Calc to use

  1. Click in LibreOffice Calc, click "tools" and under "cell contents" check the box "Automatically calculate".
  2. Then select "Format" and click on "Conditional formatting". You can now choose the points "condition", "color beam", "data bars", "icon set" and "date". On the "Manage" button to display all conditional formatting manage.
  3. By clicking on the "condition" allows you to define any number of conditions. Set in the first row of the condition, and then select the appropriate template. The area set at the lower end of the window and confirm your entries with "OK".
  4. Under the "color bar", you can specify that the selected cells will be automatically highlighted depending on the value entered in color.
  5. By using the option "data bars" are the values of the selected cells is automatically added to a bar whose size is dependent on the registered values. The corresponding colors, you can select under "More options".
  6. Under the "icon set" you can leave symbols to display individual values.
  7. The point of "date" allows you to format depending on a date, like "today", "last week" or "this month". Via the button "Extra" you can append more conditions.
  8. All of the created terms and conditions via the button "edit" afterwards, or delete it.
