Insert Video in Powerpoint

In Powerpoint, you can spice up presentations, you insert Videos in your presentation. This practical tip explains two methods of doing this.

Insert Video using the content box in Powerpoint

The easiest way to a Video in your presentation to insert the content box that normally appears each time a new film.
  1. Click on the "media clip"add icon in the content field of the desired film.
  2. Now select the Video you want to insert, and confirm at the bottom to "Insert".
  3. The Video has now been inserted and you can use it to scale as usual, or effects to apply.

The content field is not present, so you can of course add yet Videos. The corresponding entry is found in the top menu bar in Powerpoint.
  1. Click in the menu bar item "Insert".
  2. Now select the "Video" and then go to "Video from file..."
  3. Now you can search the desired Video and paste it with "Paste" in the presentation.
