Image in Word, make it transparent - how it works

Images you can't do that in Microsoft Word directly transparent. A small detour by means of the forms they come nevertheless to the destination. In this practical tip we will show you how this works.

Insert a picture transparent in Word

In Word 2010, it is not possible to make images transparent. The easiest way is to create a rectangle and set the image as fill, insert:
  1. Click on the "Insert" tab and select "forms" is the "rectangle".
  2. Insert the rectangle at the point you want to have the image.
  3. Right-click on the rectangle and "format shape" allows you to customize the graphics.
  4. In the menu item "fill," select "picture or texture fill" and add the desired image.
  5. With the slider (see image) will vary the transparency of the image.

The instructions refer to Microsoft Word 2010. In other versions of Word, the menu can differ in structure.
