How can you write with old German font?

For a rustic Look you can use in the Office applications, old German font. We will show you how to do that.

New fonts, install, and write

Many websites offer free a great selection of font directly as a TTF file to Download, or archived in a ZIP file. If you install this, you can then use in all common Office applications. To install a Font:
  • You open the TTF file or the downloaded ZIP archive, and then archived TTF file. After clicking on "Install" you can use the Font in all common Office applications.
  • Alternatively, you can copy the file in the Fonts folder "c:\windows\fonts\".

Now you only need the necessary fonts to write with old German letters. This you can get from many sources on the Internet:
  • In our Download area you can find the Font "Naked Monk". With this you get the old-German letters in all Office programs.
  • Myfont.de offers medieval fonts. Just under the desired Font to the Download Link for your operating system and click. Particularly, the deutsche Zierschrift looks classic.
  • Schriftarten-Fonts.de also has a great selection. If you click here "Download", you will be offered an executable file. This contains a Font Downloader that will install all sorts of unnecessary Toolbars. Cancel the Download and instead, click "Zip Download".
  • Melbar.de also offers medieval and old German fonts to Download.
