The highest value of a series of numbers in Excel to determine
- Write down any series of numbers in Excel.
- Type in the cell below "=MAX(" without the quotation marks.
- Now you can select with the mouse the desired cells. Click Enter, will be determined on the highest marked value.
- Alternatively, you can also write "=MAX(B1:B9)" without the quotation marks in a cell, in order to determine, for example, the highest value of column B (see image). You can also define the cells via any number of rows and columns.
