So you quickly share the Text in multiple columns
To better illustrate the function "Text to columns" is written in the column A1 a few words, which we separate with a comma. In column A2, we note some of the words are separated by spaces. We then highlight the two cells.
- Click on the "data" tab, and select in the quick launch bar, the Button "Text to columns".
- In the menu "convert text to columns wizard," select "data type", select "delimited" and then click "next".
- In the "delimiters" select "comma" and "space", since we use both formats in our example. Then go to "next".
- Finally, select the range of cells. By default, it is set so that the column is started in the Text. You can, however, be entered also enter a different starting column, then the original text remains, therefore, A1 and A2, and furthermore once you have entered the column.
- Click on "finish" split the Text in the various cells.
