If you want to move an entire column in Excel, you can do this using cut and Paste. We will show you how to do this.

Columns in Excel to move - so it goes

  1. Click above on the letter of the column you want to move, so that the entire column is highlighted.
  2. Now cut the column with the key combination [Ctrl] + [X].
  3. You want to click in the top cell of the column in which you move the values, and paste it with [Ctrl] + [V].
  4. You can also copy multiple columns at once by clicking the desired columns holding down the [Ctrl] key. Then cut the contents and paste in the cell in which the value in the top left is supposed to stand for.
