Macros in Excel 2007 enable
- Click in Excel 2007, on the top left on the Office icon and then click "Excel options".
- In the next window, on the left, click "trust center".
- Next, click on "settings for the trust center...".
- Now on the left, click "macro settings".
- To enable macros, put a tick in front of the entry "enable All macros". Confirm with "OK".
- Caution: you should enable the macro only if you really need them. As soon as you have finished your work with Excel, you should disable the same way again!

Macros in Excel 2010-enable
In the newer Version of Excel, the path to the Macro settings is slightly different:
- Click on "file" and then "options".
- In the new menu select the "security center" and in the next window "settings for macros".
- To the right, you can now select between four different options, the bottom is "enable All macros" (see Screenshot).
