Automatic table of contents in Powerpoint

A table of contents from your PowerPoint to create slides, you can use an automatic Feature. However, Microsoft has removed this from Version 2007. We will show you how you need to instead, for the table of contents approach.

First, create all the slides and start only at the end of the table of contents to create. With PowerPoint 2003, you can create via "view" > "slide sorter" > "summary slide" or "contents of slide" is a directory. Starting with Version 2007, you need to make the individual steps:
  1. Go to the ribbon "view" and open the "outline view".
  2. If you want to record only the Headings in your table of contents, click with the right mouse button in the outline and select "level reduce" > "flatten All layers".
  3. Highlight and then copy the outline on the left side and create a right-click "New slide".
  4. Here, you will add the key combination [Ctrl] + [V], the breakdown. Optionally, you can write the slide number to the end of a line.
  5. In the last step, you only need to select a Heading and the foil to the right place to move.
