Mail mailboxes to export in OS X Mavericks
If you want to save your mailboxes from Mail in an external file, you only need to enable the Export feature in Mail.
- Start the Mail application on your Mac.
- Select an Account and then press the top of the system bar, click "mailbox". Then click on the "mailbox export".
- Now determine the place where you want to save your mailbox.
- MacOS created now .mbox-file. You can move any time, by Email or in Mail to import.
