OS X Mavericks: Mail drafts, save as

Under OS X Mavericks, you can write in Mail your e-mails first, and then in your designs secure. This edit more later, or add attachments. In our practice tip, you know how it works.

Save of Mail drafts under OS X Mavericks

  1. You start to Mail in your Dock.
  2. Press the top left click "New Email"create.
  3. Now you write a new Email message. If you want to save in your designs, press the red dot in the upper left corner to exit the window.
  4. Now the question is, whether the Email should be saved in your drafts will appear. Press "Save".
  5. In the bar on the left side you will find this design now, under the folder "drafts".
  6. Your designs you can also save directly on your Email Server so that you can edit from anywhere your designs more. This function is only for Exchange and IMAP Accounts available.
  7. Select in the opened Mail program in the upper left corner next to the Apple Logo "Mail" and then click "settings".
  8. Here you choose the tab "Mail" and then press the "mailbox behavior".
  9. Now put a check mark next to "drafts on the Server".
