Your data you can enter in OS X Mavericks via Bluetooth free to share it with other devices. In the system settings, you specify exactly the context in which other devices via Bluetooth can access your files. What are the settings you will learn in our practical tip.

Under OS X Mavericks, share files via Bluetooth free

If you want to access Bluetooth on your Mac data, you can enable this Option in the system settings in the following ways:
  1. Press the Apple Logo in the upper left corner and then select the "system settings ...".
  2. In the system settings, you may then click on the Option "shared".
  3. In the next window, you will see on the left side a number of release-box (See picture). Here, select "Bluetooth share" and put a tick in the box.
  4. In the settings on the right side is also where you specify the folder in which the received data will be stored. Also, you can decide whether or not the reception of files will not be allowed by Bluetooth, or whether this action will first be obtained.
  5. For access from other devices you can also access folders, and determine how your Mac with specific access requests to be bypassed.
