Mac: setting the screen saver

If you want to set a screensaver in Mac, you have many different designs to choose from. There are different themes and different animations.

Screen saver in MacOS to set up

Under the system settings you find some options to have a screen saver set. Here, there are various slide show themes such as "cosmos" or "National Geographic".
  • Click the in the lower Dock menu to the Option "system settings". Then select the menu item "desktop & screen saver". Now click on the tab "screen saver".
  • On the left you will see various options. You can choose different slide shows. The photos for the slide shows, you can select from several topics, or just a folder with my own images specify.
  • If you scroll further down, you can also select a screen saver. Here there are animations such as "Arabesque" or "Shell". Really, the iTunes screen saver is Here and your iTunes will be shown the Cover is animated.
  • By clicking on the button "hot corners" you can show the sides of your screen saver functions. So you see, for example, your message center or your Dashboard on your screen.
