Under Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite, all Log data is stored in the Firefox browser. How to delete this, we will explain in this guide.

  1. The files can not be tracked via the Finder, open therefore, in a Terminal window.
  2. Type in the command "cd/temp".
  3. Check with the command "ls -al"; what files are in the folder.
  4. The log files have the prefix 2CGLog_firefox2 and a numeric string. There are also several files of this type may be present.
  5. You can delete the respective files with the command "rm -f filename".
