iPhoto: pictures of a-and hide - how's that?

You want to keep in iPhoto always the Overview, you can select individual photos and hide. How exactly, you can find here.

Pictures in iPhoto and hide - so it goes

  1. Left click in iPhoto "events", "faces", "places" or on a specific Album.
  2. Then click the desired photo and move the mouse pointer to the down arrow, so that the context menu opens.
  3. Select here under "photos" select the Option "photo hide".
  4. To show hidden photos visible again, choose view > hidden photos. Here you need to choose a photo and using the arrow in the bottom right of the photo Option and select show.
