Under Mac OS X, you can easily get your internal IP address. How this works, we will explain in this practical tip.

For the internal IP address, it is sufficient short in the control panel, see:
  1. Simply click on the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your screen.
  2. Then click on system preferences and then network.
  3. You will now see a list of your network connections. Depending on whether you are connected or not, illuminates a green lamp to the left of the connection. Since the address is the internal IP, so only one connection with a green light interesting.
