High numbers on the Mac to write

Under Mac OS X, it is cumbersome to write high numbers. Only some programs detect the combination of circumflex and number as potency. We will tell you in the next steps of how to set this Shortcut global for Mac Software.
  1. First, open system preferences and navigate to the menu "keyboard" to the tab "input sources". You put the check mark in the "input sources in menu bar". (see gallery)
  2. Go to the tab "Text" and tap the "+".
  3. Enter in the left column, a circumflex as well as the high number, so "^3" for "3".
  4. Now navigate to the character overview. You can find this in your menu bar between the wifi and battery indicator. Click on it and select show character viewer.
  5. In the new window you can now tap on "Search" the term "Superscript". In the search results various high figures.
  6. Then click in the system settings in the already well-known the tab "Text" in the right column next to the layer you entered a combination of circumflex and number.
  7. You drag from the character overview, the corresponding high number in the right column by clicking on it, the Cursor and hold down and the mouse in the right column to move.
  8. Repeat the previous steps to add additional shortcuts for high-pay set up.
  9. If you then press the circumflex, the number and the space key in succession, to write you a high number under Mac.

High numbers in the Mac for other programs to write

Software such as Microsoft Word will not work with the Mac's internal Shortcuts.
