Mac: assign administrator rights - how to

Under Mac OS X, you can assign administrator rights to other users. We will show you how to do this.

User administrator to assign rights on the Mac

  1. Open system preferences on your Mac.
  2. Select the category "user & groups".
  3. Then select in the list on the left side of the user, the administrator rights.
  4. Then put a check mark in "allow user to administer this Computer". In order for the Change to take effect, you must restart your Mac finally new.
