iPhoto: photo from an Email import

If you get a photo via e-mail, you can import it easily in iPhoto. We will show you how to do that.

You want to photos from Apple Mail in iPhoto import, you must proceed as follows:
  1. Open "Mail".
  2. Look for the Email with the images and open them.
  3. Click to the right of the Annex on "Save" and then on "To iPhoto add".

Photo import from other Mail programs

If you are "not using email", you can import your photos in iPhoto:
  1. Start your Email program, e.g. Thunderbird.
  2. Look for the Email with the images and open them.
  3. Save the photo on your Mac by clicking on it and select the Option "Save as..." option.
  4. Then select "iPhoto", select "file" and then "In the import to library...".
  5. Locate the desired image and click the Import Button.
