1. WhatsApp messages as a Backup save
The easiest, and largest opportunity for regular Backup. As a result, all messages are stored and can be restored easily:
- You open first thing in WhatsApp on the menu Button in the "settings".
- Then select "chat" then "Chat Backup".
- Here, you can now specify how often messages should be saved as a Backup.

2. WhatsApp messages as Text file to save
- Go to the Chat you want to save messages.
- Tap the menu Button, and then select "More".
- Now you need to "send Chat by email" button and choose whether you want to save the images.
- The messages are then stored in a Text file and added as an attachment to a Mail.
- The E-Mail must now be sent to yourself or the Chat Partner.

3. News of WhatsApp in Google Drive to save and read
So your WhatsApp messages are backed up regularly, we recommend you to Backup with Google Drive:
- Open the WhatsApp App, the "settings" > "chat" > "Chat Backup" and swipe down to "Google Drive".
- Here, you must add a Google account and select how often the Backup is to be created. Then WhatsApp automatically saves your messages.
- You can view the messages on Computer, WhatsApp Xtract , as well as the Elcomsoft Explorer from the Backup readout.
- Alternatively, the messages are also loaded when you install WhatsApp anew, and your Google account to add.
