iPhone 7 reset: A guide

Makes your iPhone 7 problems or you want to sell the Smartphone again, you can reset the device back. We will show you what options there are.

iPhone 7 reset: Soft Reset

• Has hung up the iPhone 7 and not responding, a Soft Reset completely. The iPhone 7 is going to be restarted by forced.
• Press and hold the Power button and the volume down button for around 10 seconds.
• Release the buttons when the product turns off, visible.

iPhone 7 reset: Hard Reset

Note: Hard Reset will erase all Apps, settings, and data from the iPhone 7. You want to the most important data and then restore, you should previously a Backup on iTunes or iCloud to perform.

1. Open the "settings" and select the category "General".
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap on "Reset".
3. Select the top Option "All erase all content and settings".
4. Confirm the process will delete all data on the iPhone 7.
5. The process takes a few minutes. Then, you can set up the device.

iPhone 7 on the Computer to reset

As an alternative to the above procedure, you can set the iPhone 7 on the Computer. The iOS operating system is downloaded completely and fresh on the iPhone 7 installed. Is the iPhone the Computer is not recognized, you can use the DFU mode.

1. Start iTunes and connect your iPhone 7 via USB-cable with the Computer.
2. Select your iPhone in the top left and then click on the Button "restore iPhone".
3. Confirm the process will download the latest Version of iOS, transferred and installed.
4. The process is completed, you can import, if necessary, a Backup.
