Wordpress-comments - on and off
The comment function allows you to Wordpress both in General and off as well as for individual items enable:
- You want to turn off only certain articles, the comments, because the discussion is unconstructive and Moderation is too time consuming, you can do that directly on the edit page of the article.
- You can open these as usual via the administration page in the Backend.
- Here, you will search for the module "discussions". This is usually located under the input window for the article itself.
- Sometimes the module is hidden. To check the top, click on "show options" and enable the module, if necessary.
- Here you can set for "allow comments" depending on your preference, the check mark or remove it to allow comments or to prevent. Also, Trackbacks and Pingbacks, you can set separately here.
