Wi-Fi in the air - That you need to consider:
- Since the end of 2013, the European aviation safety Agency (EASA) has allowed the use of all mobile devices in Offline mode, on flights, in principle.
- However, the airlines can decide whether they allow this or not.
- Individual airlines, such as Air Berlin, allowing even Offline use in takeoff and landing.
- More and more companies offer their passengers, usually for a fee, Wi-Fi on flights.

- Air Berlin: On almost all the flights you can choose from four wireless packages to choose from. The Airline is offering, for example, 30 minutes with a volume of 20 MB for EUR 4.90.
