The Internet Stick is not recognized – how to fix the error
- First, make sure that you have plugged in the Stick right in the USB port.
- If your Computer does not respond after you have plugged in the Stick, there may be a Defect on the USB port. Try a different port on your PC. If you are using a USB cable, swap it with another one.
- You may also receive the necessary driver software is missing, so the Stick is recognized. So search on the website of the manufacturer for the appropriate driver.
- In some cases, the Firewall or anti-virus programs can ensure that the Internet Stick is not recognized properly. Therefore, you can disable both programs and try it again.
- Throw also a glance in the "device Manager" from the "control panel". There you will find your Internet Stick or the name "Unknown device", right-click on it and "Uninstall" it.
