Replacement key for you - so's
For the downstream key made, you only need a few materials: the original conclusions, lighter, Scotch Tape, scissors, and cans of food with as little grooves in the lid.
- Heat the key with a lighter, until a very visible soot layer forms on the key teeth. Caution! Protect your hands, if necessary, with gloves or a wet cloth in front of the heat.
- Stick the adhesive Tape on the carbon black layer of the key. The shape of the key is transferred to the adhesive strip. This serves as a template.
- Remove the Scotch Tape carefully and stick it on the lid of the tin. Be sure to choose a place that has little to no creasing.
- Cut your spare key along in the dark with soot. Proceed slowly and carefully to achieve the best result.
- The resulting key is not very stable. You don't use him so be careful, to bend to him.
- Important: Apply the Trick only for your own keys and never for foreign keys!
