Many banks offer Online Banking, the photoTAN procedure. What is behind it, many customers do not know but. In this practical tip we will explain what this actually is and how the process works exactly.

The photoTAN works

Many banks offer next to mTAN, chipTAN, smsTAN, and pushTAN the photoTAN. The method brings an increased security, but also poses dangers.
  1. To use the photoTAN you either need the appropriate Smartphone App from your Bank, or a special reading device (if you don't have a Smartphone).
