Owncloud install and set up – so go ahead
- Login via SSH to your Server and then type the command "sudo wget -q -O /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default "https://eigene-cloud-einrichten.de/getnginxconfig?software=owncloud&host=ihrhost.dyndns.de". Change "ihrhost.dyndns.de" with your address.
- By this command, the required packages are downloaded for the web server and installed. Enter the command "sudo service nginx restart" after the first step is completed.
- Download from this page the latest Server Version and unzip the archive on your PC.
- Connect via FTP to your Server and upload all the files and folders that you have unzipped it.
- In your web browser, your website. Should not open the Setup automatically, enter at the end of your address "/index.php".
- Here you can see the setup page for Owncloud. On the top of the page, you can create an Administrator account. First, click on "advanced" and make sure that all the data is correct.
- Also, you need to enter "MySQL" the data in the database. With a click on "complete Installation" the Installation will terminate.
