Netflix, in spite of Unitymedia and IPv6 look – so it works
- On the PC: Change the so-called MTU value. To do this, open the Windows command prompt and enter the value "netsh interface ipv6 set subinterface 11 mtu=1450 store=persistent" and press [Enter].
- If there is an error message here, you must first change the Subinterface. As described here before.
- On the PS4: Switch on the console in the "settings" > "network". Here you need to go to "Internet connection" setting. Select whether you are using a LAN or Wi - Fi connection.
- On the question of whether you want to set up the connection to the Internet "Easy" or "user defined", select "user defined". Leave the first two settings as they are.
- Enter only under "Primary DNS" the value of 8.8.8.8 and "Secondary DNS" the value of 8.8.4.4.
- Here you must also change the MTU settings. You set the value to 1450, and do not make any further Changes.
- On the Smart TV, you can adjust settings to watch Netflix. Here you will need to grab either the PC or the console.
