On the mobile website: Instagram-images upload from your PC
The Instagram App is not available for all the Smartphones available. Therefore, the Facebook subsidiary, offers a mobile website with your Smartphone - even without the App, images can upload. You can do this also on the PC take advantage and upload photos. However, Instagram can PC users not just on the mobile website. Therefore, you must think of the website that you are browsing with your Smartphone. In Firefox it works, for example, with the Addon "mobile view", in Google Chrome, proceed as follows:
- Launch Chrome and open in a new window the Instagram website.
- There you can click on the menu Icon with the three dots and select "More Tools", select "developer tools".
- In the upper left corner of the developer tools, you click on the Button for the mobile view (see photo).
- Then you need to select at the top of the window to simulate a mobile phone (e.g. the iPhone 7), and update the page with [F5].
- Then, you can upload a photo via the Upload Button. Note, however, that there are no filters and editing options for your images.

Alternatively: With "Gramblr" Instagram-photos from the PC to post
The Freeware Tool Gramblr allows you to also Upload from the PC, if not quite as easy as the official Instagram page.
- After the Download unpack the ZIP file and install the Tool on your Computer.
- Then start the program and log in with your Instagram credentials.
- Now click on "Choose File" to upload a photo. Note: The image must be square and absolutely a resolution of 650 x 650 Pixel. Photos of other scales will fit you, for example, free-of-charge in the Paint with the Buttons "Crop" and "resize image" to.
- After clicking on "Upload" you can attach your photo with a description. Once you have confirmed this, post "Gramblr" your picture on Instagram.
