HTTP and HTTPS: who needs it?
- The Hypertext Transfer Protocol, in short, HTTP is used to download Websites from the Server in your web browser.
- The Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure HTTPS, the same task, this is encrypted and thus can establish a secure connection between the operator of the Website and your Browser.
