Google Chrome Addons are automatically updated
- A lot of extensions in Google Chrome do not need to update even manually, because it works in most of the cases in the Background. In some cases, an Update due to errors on the part of the developer or Google can also be done too late or not at all. In this case, you should try the manual method.
- Otherwise it looks outdated you installed Plug-ins. Since these are not updated automatically, informed you are a Google Chrome with a Pop-up message about available Updates. In this case, click on "update Plug-in", to Upgrade to a newer Version.
Chrome extensions to update manually
If an Addon does not support automatic refresh, you can do it manually.
- Enter "chrome://extensions" in the browser line.
- Then click at the top right of the box next to "developer mode".
- Then click on the button "extensions update now". The Updates are now downloaded and installed.
