Fritzbox behind the cable modem to operate – so it works
- First, connect the cable modem to the cable connection. You can use the supplied cable.
- Connect to the Fritzbox via LAN cable to the cable modem.
- Then connect to the Fritzbox via LAN cable to the PC and open the "fritz.box" in the Browser.
- Enable the expert view, by clicking the top right on the three points, and "expert mode" to select.
- Then, navigate to "Internet" > "access data" and select "Internet connection via LAN 1 and under "mode" the Option "Internet connection, self-build".
- Below you will find the section "access data". Here you can select "credentials are not required". In the "connection settings" put a tick in "obtain an IP address automatically".
- Then save the Changes with "Apply". Thus, the setup is complete.
