Spam e-Mail open? So (un)concern, you can deal with the Mails
In most of the Mails in the Spam folder and it is advertising, the automatically recognized as such and filtered. But it can also just e-Mails from senders you on the Blacklist set. It is in the rule:
- Mail in the Spam folder, you can open it without concern, as only the Text is displayed in the Version without graphics, ciphers, and hidden elements.
- A Link or an attachment in the Mail, you should be extremely careful: first Check who is the sender of the Mail. It is a E-mail address, you know, really, that's been sorted, the Mail probably only accidentally in the Spam folder.
- You know the sender personally, it helps to look at the Mail provider: the message of a company with its own mail address as info@chip.de is the Newsletter as Spam are categorized, and can be marked as "Not Spam".
- At a strange address extension, you should remove the Mail. This also includes extensions that contain a prominent brand names such as @apple-gewinnspiel.de include. In case of doubt you should delete the email or customer service call, before you open the Links or attachments.
- In the case of a file attachment in Word Format caution also applies: Here, the macro virus can be in the document settings. Secure PDF is. Also attachments with multiple extensions like name.pdf.exe you should not download and open.
