AirPlay retrofitting: These are the options
- TV: you Want to AirPlay to your TV retrofit, is the best way to a Apple TV. This is connected via HDMI cable to the TV and can transfer lots of content from their iOS devices to the TV.
- TV & music: With a Apple Airport Express for around 80 Euro you will receive a full Router. Even if you don't want to use the Router function, this allows you to AirPlay to retrofit.
- AirPlay-Adapter: The best and cheapest way is with an Adapter. This is simply plugged into the wall outlet, and via Wi-Fi with your Router and by cable to your music system connected. The Adapter is now accessible via Wi-Fi, and transfers the music directly to your plant. The following Adapter from D-Link costs around 33 Euro.
- Bluetooth Adapter: Cheaper, come with a Bluetooth Adapter to it. The music quality and the stability of the compound, however, suffers. Often cheap Bluetooth adapters offer only a limited range of a few meters.
