What E-Mail is? The Facts
The E-Mail is a Service of the German Post AG with the following properties and benefits:
- Log on to the E-Mail is free and you can use an address similar to an E-Mail address "@epost.de" up.
- Via E-Mail you can send letters electronically – even as a registered letter. The recipient has no E-Mail address, prints the Post to the Letter and sent it as a classic letter.
- Conventional E-Mails you can receive this E-Mail address, however. The Post maintains a public E-Mail address directory, similar to a phone book.
- In contrast to most E-Mail providers require you to sign up for an E-Mail address with your identification card and via phone to verify. Then, you use the mobile TAN procedure for orders.
- You can also write form letters and send. The costs are for private customers in the area of the normal Mail postage. Companies can get customer discounts.
- The Post prints the E-Mail for you, you will pay from page 3 an additional 10 cents per page.
- To Receive, Send, and Manage your E-Mail using the E-Mail Mailer, you are free to download.
- In contrast to the classical E-Mail the E-Mail promises a high level of data security.
- You can EPost.de your account access and charging.
- Foreign letters are not available.
