Wi-Fi-driver-install – HOWTO
In just a few steps you have the appropriate wireless driver for your PC, downloaded and installed:
- You can connect your PC via LAN cable to the Internet.
- To install the appropriate driver, open Windows Update and search with a click on "search for Updates" for Updates.
- Browse through the list of available Updates for the driver for your Wi-Fi. This is available, you should download the Updates and install.
- The driver is not listed, you will need to change in the "control panel" > "device Manager".
- Here, the WLAN Adapter must be listed either under "Other devices" or "network adapter" with a question mark.
- Right click on the name and then select "update driver software".
- In connection select "search Automatically for updated driver software". The wizard searches for the latest driver for the device.
- After a short delay, the driver should be found and installed.
