Subwoofer - what is it?
A Subwoofer is a speaker that sounds in low frequencies amplified. The Subwoofer is also called a "woofer" or "bass-speaker".
- Normal speakers have a limited frequency range. The Subwoofer has a lower frequency range and thus can play the otherwise barely audible Bass.
- Especially for the well-equipped home theater subwoofers are indispensable. But also in music equipment and many cars, an additional Subwoofer is installed in.
- Subwoofer, there are lots of sound systems - for example, in the 5.1 home cinema system, or even the 2.1 system, which consists only of two speakers and a Subwoofer.
