Bar codes on a Computer scan with bcWebCam
The Software bcWebCam uses Webcams and digital cameras to read bar codes. The Freeware version already recognizes most of the Bar - and QR-Code Standards.
- Install bcWebCam
- When you Start the Software for the Webcam that you want to use as a Barcode Scanner
- Press the "Start"Button. The application is now transparent.
- Select a text box in the application in which you want the scanned Code to insert to, for example, the sales window of Rebuy or use the search box on Amazon.
- You now hold the einzuscanne Barcode in front of your camera, the barcode or the QR Code is filmed straight and sharp. You can rotate it and vary the distance to the camera.
- A short "Beep" like at the supermarket checkout confirms the successful bar code Scan. The coded numbers or string is inserted automatically in the activated text field.
- With a click on the Barcode icon, you can set the tolerance for the inclination of the barcode. The larger the tolerance, the slate can be kept in the Code in front of the camera, the more error-prone detection of is but also.
Scan Codes with bdWebCam
Ideal as a Barcode Scanner suitable for cameras in which the focus is on a very low depth setting. Sufficient light and disable all not needed Code formats, the detection quality can be increased.
