Update for TomTom: Matching the program to select
To update the Software on your device, offers TomTom are two different programs. First you need to find out which program is suitable for your navigation device:
- Open the help-page of TomTom and search for your Navi.
- Then proceed to either the second or the third paragraph.
Update for TomTom Navi
TomTom with "TomTom HOME" update
To update your navigation device with TomTom HOME, you must do the following:
- Download first [http://www.chip.de/downloads/TomTom-Home_57093367.html/TomTom HOME]], download and install the program.
- Then, connect your device to the PC and switch on your sat NAV.
- First, create a backup, by backing up in the HOME menu, click "data restore", then on "My backup" and then on "data" click save.
- You go back to the HOME menu and select "My device to update".
- An update is available, you can select it now and click on "download updates" to your device dubbing.
- Finally, you need to click on "Done" and in the HOME menu, under "device" and "device select" separate.
TomTom with "MyDrive CONNECT" update
Is designed your navigation device to MyDrive Connect, you can have your sat NAV how to update the following:
- First, you must have the latest Version of MyDrive Connect is downloading and installing.
- Now connect your navigation device to your Computer, switch it on and start MyDrive Connect.
- Now log in with your MyDrive Connect user data.
- To select the top left of the page to the "My content" and then "refresh Selected".
- Confirm the Update by clicking on "Accept and Install" and wait until the update is complete.
- You can now disconnect your TomTom from the Computer and with the new Software.
