TomTom Home: map Update for Navi
In the following instructions, the Software TomTom Home uses. The Software is unknown to you, you probably need the instructions in the next paragraph.
- Start TomTom Home and connect your Navi via USB-cable with the Computer.
- Log in, if necessary, in your TomTom Account.
- Under the point "Extras" you will now find the Option "guarantee for the latest map version to use".
- This Option can be within the first 90 days for free.
- The Life-Time maps are not for your navigation device available, you need to buy the Updates in the Store. These cards can be found on the home page in TomTom home (see picture).

MyDrive Connect: maps Update for TomTom Navi
Newer devices use the Software MyDrive Connect. This can go to the following website from TomTom download.
- Start MyDrive Connect, connect your GPS via USB cable to the PC and turn it on.
- A new map is available, it is offered directly at the Start of the Software to Download.
- Click "Next" and then follow the instructions. Then the latest map is installed.
- Note: Will not be offered the Update directly, go up to the My content category.
