Surface Pro 4: Improved and new accessories
Microsoft promises with the Surface Pro 4, a thinner and lighter Tablet with more power and better equipment. In addition, a new and improved accessory should appear, that is with the Surface Pro 3 compatible.

- Size: in Spite of everything the Surface does not become larger, since the edge of the screen in the new model is five percent narrower. It remains at a size of 29 x 20 centimeters. With only a 8.45 millimeters, the Surface Pro 4 is significantly thinner than its predecessor (9 mm).
- Weight: The Surface Pro 4 is also lighter than the sister model. The m3 model weighs 766 grams, the i5 and i7 versions come with 786 grams on the scale. The difference puts the assumption close that Microsoft has waived the smallest model on a fan. For comparison: The Surface Pro 3 weighs 798 grams and 22 grams more than the successor.

According to Microsoft, the new Surface thanks to the new Skylake technology from Intel is 30% faster than the predecessor. The i7 Version is supposed to be 50 percent faster than the MacBook Air. - Entry-level model: The smallest processor in the Surface Pro 3 is an Intel Core i3 with Intel HD 4200 graphics. The successor to Microsoft uses the Intel Core m3 with Intel HD graphics 515. Thus, both models should be in terms of performance approximately equal and are thus suitable for Office applications and for Surfing. For demanding programs such as Photoshop, you have to expect but with weaknesses.
- Standard model: In the case of the medium-sized models, an Intel Core i5 is used. The Surface Pro 3 is the fourth Generation with Intel HD 4400 graphics, the successor of the sixth Generation with Intel HD graphics 520 is installed. Also Adobe applications run on these Tablets, liquid.
- High-End Version: The biggest Version is equipped with an i7 processor. Here, too, Microsoft puts the Surface Pro 4 to the latest Generation i7 Intel Iris graphics, which should bring a significant performance boost.
