EPG-update on Sky last forever – what to do?
So you have all channel information, you must perform an EPG update. What can you do if this takes a very long time, we can tell you the following:
- Start the EPG update, and wait at least five minutes.
- Nothing happens in that time you can disconnect the Receiver from the mains and wait a further five to ten minutes.
- To close it, then re-apply power and run through the menu again, a EPG update.
- This depends, you should make sure that the hard disk has sufficient free memory space.
- If this is not the case, you should delete recordings from the hard disk to obtain storage space.
- You can also try the Sky Receiver to reset.
- You are not able to perform even after the EPG Update, there may be a greater Defect in the Receiver.
