Senseo Twist descaling: instructions for the pad machine

Possible indications that decalcifying is necessary are: a lack of foaming, lukewarm temperature of the coffee and a reduced leakage amount. To Descale, proceed as follows:

1. Mix them in a container (e.g. measuring Cup, or bowl) in a Liter of water with 50 grams of Senseo descaler.
2. Pour the liquid into the water container of your Senseo Twist.
3. Note: In models with the number HD7873 you first need to Filter from the water tank to be removed.
4. Put the water tank back in the pad machine.
5. Press the "On/Off"button.
6. Place the 1-Cup pod holder with a used coffee pod in your device. Then close the lid.
7. Loosen the drip tray of the coffee machine.
8. You place a 1.5 litre bowl directly under the coffee spout.
9. They are waiting for the "On/Off"-button lights up permanently.
10. Now you can start the descaling.
11. At a time, press the 1-Cup button and the 2-Cup button. Press and hold the buttons for three seconds will sound until a short beep.
12. The "Calc"indicator and the "On/Off"button will flash and the descaling process begins.
13. The "On/Off"-button flashes quickly, as soon as the descaling mixture has run through.
14. Pour the liquid from the collecting bowl.
15. They spout and then in the back directly under the coffee.

Do not turn off your Senseo coffee during the entire descaling process. It could cause a malfunction.

1. Rinse the water tank thoroughly.
2. Fill the container with water.
3. Paste it back into your Senseo.
4. They are waiting for the "On/Off"-button lights up permanently.
5. You now start the rinsing cycle.
6. To do this, press on the 1-Cup button and the 2-Cup button. Press and hold the buttons for three seconds until a short beep is heard.
7. The "Calc"indicator and the "On/Off"button flashing and the rinse begins.
8. The "On/Off"-button flashes quickly, once the water is completely gone.
9. Empty the collection bowl.
10. You spout then back under the coffee.
11. Repeat the steps in this paragraph again.
12. Note: After the completion of the second Spüldurchlaufs your Senseo will automatically turn off.
13. The descaling is now complete and you can use your coffee maker again.
