The lifespan of E-Bike batteries
Modern batteries hold, according to many manufacturer claims to have around 1000 charge cycles, although this information refers to full charges. However, these are rather rare, resulting in a life expectancy of two to five years, depending on usage and care realistic.
- The life is closely linked to the number of watt-hours (Wh), since a battery needs to be charged with more watt-hours less often and more cells.
